Three Beaver County Youth Competing in National Business Plan Challenge

Three young people who are participants in the Beaver County Youth Entrepreneurship Collaborative’s Youth Business Incubator will be competing in the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship’s (NFTE) National Business Plan Challenge on October 11, 2012

Jesse and Joziah Council, of Midland, Pa are the CEOs and founders of J&J’s Soothing Cream, an all-natural cream used to sooth arthritic joints and sore muscles.  Lisa Huff, of Ambridge, Pa is the CEO and owner of Decadent Delights, a catering company specializing in Oreo bon bons.

Each entrant had to produce a 65 second “elevator” pitch video which has been posted online at www.elevatorpitch2012.com.  The public is encouraged to visit the site and vote for their favorite pitch.  There are daily and weekly prizes for the winners, as well as a larger grand prize in October for the pitch which receives the most votes.
