Beaver County Centenarian’s Honored

Franklin Center of Beaver County’s Aliquippa Council of Men and Fathers were filled with expectancy of the arrival their guests. It was the morning that ACMF hosted a celebration breakfast for two of Beaver County seniors. The honorees were Mrs. Trudy Powell 102, of Aliquippa and Mrs. Gustina Howze 100 of Beaver Falls.

As centenarian’s, these women represented a wealth of knowledge and wisdom.   ACMF showered Mrs. Howze and Mrs. Powell with gifts of platinum, gold, flowers, and words as just small tokens of gratitude for being such shining examples of what citizenship means in our communities.

This day was packed with excitement and history. “I do not know if I will ever get an opportunity again to meet God’s grace, beauty, wisdom and sweetness rolled up in two elegant women, Mrs. Powell, and Mrs. Howze” said Shon Owens.
